What Types of Body Sculpting Services Are Available?

You don’t have to settle for the body you were born with, or the one you developed over time, either. If you’d like to sculpt away areas of fat, body contouring helps you do just that.

Our team at Modern Wellness Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, doesn’t just offer the latest, state-of-the-art laser treatments to help you melt away and reshape fat. We’re one of the few local clinics who also let you choose from a variety of all-natural body-shaping techniques, too.

Which body sculpting technique is right for you? The following guide can help you decide.

Stimulate your own body’s shaping powers

We use two different natural noninvasive techniques that can be administered singly or in combination to stimulate your body’s ability to drain away accumulated fluids and fat and increase circulation. Choose from:

Wood therapy

If you opt for wood therapy, your practitioner massages your skin with a coffee scrub to remove dead skin cells and stimulate circulation. The scrub exfoliates your skin, revealing healthier skin underneath.

They then press and scrape your body with special wooden tools that stimulate your lymph system to remove excess fat and toxins. This type of massage also stretches your skin fibers, so that your skin looks smoother. Wood therapy is a great way to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Lymphatic massage

If you recently had surgery, your surgeon may recommend lymphatic massage to help your body rid itself of toxins and excess fluids to alleviate swelling and inflammation. However, this powerful yet gentle form of massage is a wonderful way to reshape a healthy body, too.

Your practitioner uses a variety of hand-based movements and techniques to stimulate the production of lymph and move it through your lymphatic system, so that it can drain away toxins and excess fat and water. Lymph is a fluid that, like blood, circulates through your body to keep it healthy and functioning at its peak.

Lymphatic massage also increases the health of your body’s tissues, including your joints. Even if you don’t want to reshape your body, you may enjoy a regular lymphatic massage to keep your lymph system healthy.

Boost your body’s systems

Either instead of or in addition to massage therapies, various technologies work with your body’s systems to eliminate or redistribute fat and clear toxins from your tissues. Choose from:

Injections of nutrients and hormones tighten and rejuvenate your skin by supplying it with the enzymes and vitamins it needs to stay strong and repair damage. Mesotherapy also melts away excess fat to create more youthful curves.

Your practitioner injects the middle layers of your skin to stimulate blood circulation and reduce inflammation. You can expect:

You can also use mesotherapy to break up and dissolve hyperpigmented areas on your skin or even to help your scalp produce new and healthier hairs.

Carboxytherapy is an FDA-approved treatment that increases circulation and improves skin elasticity. Your practitioner administers carbon dioxide (CO2) in the cutaneous and subcutaneous layers of your skin. Carboxytherapy improves the health of your skin and reduces the appearance of cellulite.

Destroy the fat

If you have large fatty bulges on your abdomen, chin, or other areas, you may choose a body-contouring technique that kills unneeded fat cells. We offer both minimally invasive and noninvasive fat removal techniques:

Cavitation is completely noninvasive. We apply a device to your skin that uses ultrasound waves to break up excess fat cells in targeted areas, such as your abdomen, hips, or chin. Your body gradually eliminates the fat cells over time, permanently reducing fat on the treated area. You may need a series of treatments.

Laser lipolysis

Laser lipolysis is a minimally invasive form of liposuction. We make very small incisions into the treatment area, through which we thread a tube that delivers laser energy to break up and liquidate the fat.

We then remove the excess fat through a super slim tube called a cannula. The laser energy stimulates your skin to tighten and heal, which eliminates the risk for saggy skin that comes with traditional liposuction.
