About Sharon

Sharon Del Rosario received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada in 2019. She has experience in the diversified fields of Emergency Medicine and Family Practice Primary Care. She speaks fluent English and Spanish for her cultural background stems from the Dominican Republic.  

While obtaining her degree from TUN, she became well versed in the social and healthcare disparities of underserved populations by completing some of her rotations at various clinics which specialize in catering to the homeless population, Geriatric care, LGBTQ community, Refugees and Veterans. She even spent some time on an international rotation which visited rural areas of Guatemala. Her biggest wish in life is for “everyone to get the same quality care in life no matter what economic status, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference or age you are!”

    • Hundridge Clinic (LGBTQ), Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, Touro Mobile Health Clinic, Veterans Village, Shade Tree Clinic and the various clinics at Southern Nevada Health District including: Sexual Health, Family Planning and Health Care, Tuberculosis, Refugee and Immunization Clinics  

Prior to completing her Masters at TUN, she spent her freshman year of college at ASU during that time which she became CO-founder of the Pi Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma. She later then finished the remainder of her undergrad at University Nevada Las Vegas. During her years at UNLV, she performed research in a Biochemistry lab focused on Anthrax Sporulation. She also volunteered her time at a multitude of places including Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Buddy’s Program for kids, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN), and even volunteered as a tutor and peer advisor for the UNLV Academic Success Center.  

With Sharon’s diversified background, insatiable curiosity for medicine and love for teaching, she will be a great provider for you!
